Jesus is still 'I AM'
Somewhere along the way...it seems that maybe...Jesus has become a historical figure of the past and a futuristic figure to look forward to...and that we are somewhere in the middle while Jesus is just hanging out in heaven looking down on us as we perform our religious responsibilities or obligations and do what we can to get others to join in on the cause, BUT...
We have a witness that says something different...that makes a different claim...that doesn't bow to the opinions of man or religious tradition. It speaks by a greater authority, an authority that is above all...the authority of the Great 'I AM'.
The word of God states in Hebrews 13:8 that Jesus is the SAME, yesterday, today and forever. He is unchanging, non-conforming, unyielding, immovable, fearless, who is doing the same thing in the earth now that He was doing in earth when He walked in the flesh. Acts 10:38 tells us how Jesus went about doing good, healing all who were sick and oppressed of the devil, for God was with Him. Jesus is still doing what He did when He walked on the earth.
Jesus is not a past time, a fading memory, a past experience, just a person of History's past, or a good man that is not out dated and out of touch with the 'real world'. He is the I AM that lives and is alive forevermore (Revelation 1:18). He is still the 'Resurrection and the Life' (John 11:25). He is still giving 'life more abundantly' (John 10:10). Jesus is not a 'has been', 'use to be', 'wanna be', or 'gonna be'. He is still 'The Way, The Truth and The Life' (John 14:6). He is 'I AM'. No matter what your situation is Jesus is still the answer. He is still the answer to Eternity and the ONLY way to the Father.
Jesus is the Answer to your life right now. He is alive and working and He loves you. Whatever the need, whatever the situation, whatever the challenge, Jesus is the answer!
